    Construction Update: Friday, April 24:
The Highway 63 bridge is now closed.
*If you're coming from the north, you can drive to us as normal.
*If you're arriving from any other direction and would usually use the Highway 63 bridge, find an alternate route - the shortest route is to follow our detour signs going north on 8th Street from Highway 48, 1.5 miles east of Cumberland.
*If you are walking or riding a bike, you will be able to get through the construction area.

    To all our wonderful customers...
With the Highway 63 bridge expected to be closed for much of 2026, we want our customers to know that Louie's will remain open and ready to serve you. We also encourage you to continue supporting the many great local businesses on our side of the bridge. Your support means a lot to all of us.
The Cumberland businesses north of the bridge have teamed up to mark a detour for you:
1.5 Miles East of the Four Corners in Cumberland:
Go north on 8th Street from Highway 48.
    Follow our detour signs.
Please note that the official bridge detour will not bring you to us, so be sure to watch for our signs instead. It is a short, scenic drive that adds only about 5 minutes to your normal trip.
We truly appreciate your patience, your support, and your extra effort to keep shopping local. As always, please drive respectfully near our neighbors. We'll see you on the other side.
Heading north? You will be able to go straight north from here on Highway 63 without returning to the detour.
Also, if you are in Cumberland, the bridge will have an open path for pedestrians and bicycles - walk or ride up the hill.

*There is also road work in progress on Highway 63 between Cumberland and Barronett, but the road will be open at all times with periodic lane closures - and far less traffic than normal.
    Now accessible from ATV trails!

The green streets are open; the red portion of Highway 63 is closed to ATV traffic. You may access the Louie’s parking lot with ATVs using the back entrance on Jeffrey Blvd.

Update 4/24/26: The Highway 63 and Lake Street bridges are closed. You will need to use alternate routes to get to Louie's and around Cumberland.
